As a new fly fisherman, mainly inspired by the adventures on your channel, I really appreciate this. I’ve looked at every sling, chest, waist packs and as someone who day hikes into utahs alpine lakes, they didn’t make sense for me. Glad to revert to a company I already love, KUIU. Only complaint is I feel you are missing a gun, my friend. To each their own but there are scenarios bear spray won’t help you in. I’ve also had scary situations with stalking cats and 2 legged predators as well. Stay safe out there brother. Glad to see others carry a TQ.

Locals here are getting sick and tired of people plastering their videos of fishing spots where every Tom, dick and Harry will seek these places thus increasing the pressure on our local rivers and lakes. Enough is enough, try to enjoy your trips to our waters without bragging to the world how great you are at fly fishing.

30”+ size bulls on the north fork of the blackfoot. had my fly line broken several times and landed a 36” . I wasn’t fishing for them it happens

Always enjoyed fly fishing these two streams. Did good with a bead head pheasant tail nymph and a Prince nymph. I'd like to try it in the colder season some time. Wondering if you could weave some cord to close up the gaps in that goofy net?

I know this may seem like not a big deal because these are trout, but managing your line and getting the fish on the reel without the excess is and can be very beneficial for landing fish without distractions. Anyway, what a video, amazing commentary, and enthusiasm for days.this video is awesome

Really wish they would outlaw flies above a certain length on bull trout streams during key times of the year. Its probably the best way to manage them and it seems to me there is plenty of other viable streamer water in the state.
